In search of a few 130 parts
« on: September 05, 2024, 03:58:31 »
Good morning,

I am looking for the 3 "u-shaped" brackets used to secure the three bolts for the valve cover. Also looking for the oil hose and bracket that lubricated the cam. Lastly, does anyone have a source for new oil pumps. Looking or items that someone may be selling, part numbers, or sources for the parts.\

I apologize for the probable inaccurate names or descriptions of the parts!

Thanks,

James (Eddie) Black

Buds Benz has oil parts:
https://www.budsbenz.com/catalog/230-250-280-sl/e-oil

SLS has the valve cover bracket in their catalog but show no availability right now
https://www.sls-hh-shop.de/en/mercedes-230-280sl-w113/03-engine-m127-m129-m130/05-a-cyl-head-camshaft-valves

Regarding the oil hose and bracket for cam lubrication - is this the pipe that supplies oil all along the cam shaft.
Again, SLS has this listed but show none in stock. Is shown on the same link as the one above.

Another source is Neimoller:
https://www.niemoeller.de/en/w113/w113/B044/016#map-list

Neimoller does not show a new oil pump but a service for repair:
https://www.niemoeller.de/en/w113/w113/B044/182#map-list

Have you tried the dealer or the Classic Center??

Good luck!

Looking or items that someone may be selling, part numbers, or sources for the parts.
You might get lucky and find some parts from members, it surprises me what some people have available.

While many vendors use their own part numbers in their online catalogs, some do use MB part numbers.

For sources, you'll get many recommendations.  I believe we had a large listing of vendors at one point.
