929 Nautical blue
« on: September 15, 2024, 12:13:12 »
Does anyone in the group have his/hers pagoda painted in the Mercedes Nautical blue? 929 is the paint code. Can be seen on lots of 124 and 126 cars in the early 90’s.

Usuallly,
you won't find a Pagoda with that paint code...
Nowadays only very few Pagoda owners go with a paint code that was not period available.
Another (of the about 30) available paint code from the Pagoda time perhaps but rarely a non-Pagoda paint
which is 20 years younger ....

DB350 (medium blue) might be the closest of the stock colors. Lots of R107s were painted DB929, though. It's a handsome color. I recall looking at a SWB G-wagen from Japan in that color, slick.. Mechatronik has a stock color, DB332, that is just a shade darker that they use on their M-SL.
