SEAT RAILS…Q? Recommended lubricant?

Hey forum:1957 199 SL
  I have both seats removed and am rehabilitating the seat rail mechanisms ( I had to remove seats ( and most of the carpeting) to remove the transmission / shifter tunnel to change the shifter mechanism bushings..successfully accomplished , but now time for reassembly….boy were those seat rails a mess!)
  BTW: there are 4 x 6mm Phillips head screws that hold each of the body side seat rails in place…half the bolts were missing!  Replaced missing 6mm x10mm bolts …lock tite and lock washer new bolts ( and old) in place.

The question: what is the recommended seat rail lubrication program?
(1) white lithium grease?
(2) graphite dry lubrication?
(3): old fashioned wheel grease?
(4) other?

Btw: I have carefully measured the spacing between the rails to ensure they are parallel and proper distance apart…there is lots of room for error here.

I have been working under dash of my 190SL and also removed the seats to be able to get there. It took me good 45 minutes to move passenger seat. The reason was old grease. I have cleaned everything, checked if rails are straight, lubricated the locking shaft and put it back together.

I used dry lube meant for sliding rails (I have Wurth brand). I hope it will collect less dust.

I do not think so, rather PTFE or something like that... dry one.
