Replacement Thermo-Time Switch Electrical Connections
« on: October 26, 2024, 16:47:28 »
I bought the replacement TTS discussed in  https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=26041.msg186571#msg186571  but discovered that the terminals are not marked (W for ground, G for 12V +).

The referenced post includes a chart with the the diagram shown.

Based on the configuration in the diagram I am going to connect the Pink/Blue wire to the terminal marked + on the diagram and the Pink wire to the other terminal. Knowing that improper connection will fry the TTS would greatly appreciate confirmation from a knowledgeable member that this is correct.

Another point for those using this replacement TTS; the connector needed is an EV1 and readily available, some with pins and pigtails installed. The Bosch part number referenced in the above discussion is a bare part with no pins or pigtails.

Many thanks to those who posted previously and hoping for quicker cold starts!
