turn signal relay
« on: August 05, 2005, 03:02:54 »
My brother is getting my new acquisition MOTd whilst I am back in Asia.
The turn signal relay is very slow. I have ordered a new one from the local dealer but he says that it requires some rewiring.
Anyone changed their relay and can advise on the amount of modification to the wiring?

Rob ... Before changing the relay, check that the turn signal bulbs are the correct bulb and the correct watage (or wired incorrectly).  The turn signal lights should be bright.

If the bulbs and associated wiring are correct, why would a new signal relay require rewiring?
