I found this Jack in a European delivered 113 280sl… different then anyone I have seen before is it original or something from another car???

I have the same screw type jack in my US 68 280sl but per the tech manual it is a 230sl jack.

Mine was a Euro and I have that jack, in my 71 280SL. Mine was 150 cars from the end of production.

From what i've read the early type ratchet jacks were used up until some time in 1968, when they changed to the enclosed type

I am quite sure the jack with a ratchet is not from your car.

Here s the 230SL manual showing the correct Jack, which matches the one you have. This is the one I have in my European delivered 230SL.
