New member here and I am sorry for any redundancy question but I received my mom's 1966 230 sl.  After looking at the plate on the firewall it read  w113 042-12-013483.  My qustion is do I have a 1965 or 1966 230sl?  Thanks in advance for any help.  Pete

Based on your ViN your vehicle would have been manufactured in October of 1965.  If it was sent to USA they might have titled it as a 1966.  If it remained in Europe it would have most likely been titled as a 1965.
