64' 230SL Vertical spare drainage hole?
« on: December 11, 2024, 22:24:43 »
On a 64' 230sl with the vertical spare tire would there have been a drainage hole at the bottom? If so how big would the hole be?

I couldn't find anything in the archives about this. Thank you in advance.

Looks like there's a drain hole in this photo from SLS's website. You could email them and ask, but looks like about 3-4mm.

I have an original 64 230sl and here is a photo. The central single drainage hole looks to be about 3-4mm in diameter.
