Linkage adjustment at the block
« on: March 03, 2025, 00:36:30 »
I just wanted to add my experience with the adjustment.
The top pivot for the pump rod had been broken off and welded back on so I had to adjust the length of this rod so that it was in sync with the throttle rod (ended up being 235mm). The length was adjusted until the FIP stop was touching and there was 1mm at the venturi stop at full throttle".
I adjusted the block rod so that the venturi was open to 1mm off the fully open stop.  The easiest way to do this by myself was to use some play-doh on the venturi stopper and I could see how much it was compressed after pressing the accelerator.  This was the step that I didn't fully understand in the Linkage Tour but I think I did the correct thing.
