Frigiking test
« on: March 29, 2025, 20:07:40 »
Hi all, after recently acquiring a Frigiking A/C system I am seeing if what I have bought works. I am giving the under dash unit a strip down and testing on the kitchen table to the disapproval of the Mrs. Can someone familiar with these units give my some advice. I have searched lots of posts on the forum but none answer my question. The light illuminates but does not go off, the fan runs on all three speed setting but will not turn off. I presume as the fan does not turn off, this switch also controls the light.
Also is it normal that when the Temp switch is in the off position the fan does not run in any speed. If I need a new switch is there a plug and play replacement available.
Many thanks

Worked it out, after reading somewhere that the thin black wire was the fan switch live , and the thick black wire was the compressor live, it suddenly dawned on me that why would the thin black wire be the main feed so swapped them around and all is no good.
