Hi Jon -

Got mine last week, too.

The last three or four issues have arrived in resealable clear packaging, which is nifty for dust-free storage on my library shelf when I'm done reading and re-reading the issue.

So my question is:  Is this resealable packaging proprietary to our newest printer/dispatcher, or is it commercially available, and from whom?

I'd like to package up my other original copies of PW going back to #1, and the extra copies I received of #9 because one of the photos I took of my 230SL at a neighbor's Japanese style home was chosen for the front cover.

Mike, the packaging is hardly new in the printing industry and not proprietary to our printer. It's called a crystal bag, or crystal poly bag, and might go by different names depending on who's offering it. Here's one: https://a.co/d/blOZMk8

In typical magazine printing, many are sent without any bagging at all. Regular poly bagging, with that translucent plastic similar to "vizqueen" plastic, is often done "in line" automated on large productions. Well, we are NOT large productions. Only the USA magazines go out with that and must carry that fly sheet (the one that carries the return address and postage information per USPS requirements). The internationals go out in envelopes per those requirements.
