What's this brown wire?
« on: September 30, 2005, 16:54:14 »
Finished my engine and everything seems to be in place except one brown wire.  It looks as though it wants to go on the CSV, but the wiring diagram only shows one wire.  What did I miss?

There should be a bare spot (bare of paint) about 7/8 inch in diameter with a screw in the center just below the overflow tank. The wire attaches to ground (body) using that screw.

That is the correct original mounting location .  About 1" foward of the overflow support bracket. Umpainted circle for conductivity/contact....

Found it. Thanks for the precise discription. The screw and bare spot had been painted over with the new paint job.
