Heard this through the grapevine

I recently found out that Bob Hatch installed a 3.5 V8 in his pagoda.  The engine is out of a W111.  I don't have any details on the transplant.

I had the chance to see the V-8 113's at the German-Fest show in Brookline, MA. Very impressive work! If I'm correct, he won 'Best of Show' for the red 280SL with the 3.5. I've attached a link to my webshots accout, which has a few shots of the red V-8 pagoda. I think I took many more pictures than I had posted on webshots, so if you want me to post some more, just let me know!

It does look very impressive!  I may be mistaken but it looks like Bob has 15" alloy bundt style wheels on his car.  I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of this car.

I completely missed the red V-8 Pagoda!  I was actually looking at the anthracite Pagoda with the V-8.  There are actually two of these cars pictured here. 8)
