Not my auction, but I think it's a terrific piece of history. It's the inspiration behind this group's logo and arguably the Pagoda SL's proudest moment.

I have one of these ads, it's from "Motor Sports", a UK Publication, October 1963 issue, page 814 (!). If you look closely at the bottom, last sentence says: "A 230SL will be on view at the Motor Show on STAND 113"
