Palos Verdes Concours 2005.  Don't know whether the license plates helped the car win its 2nd place, but they probably didn't hurt.  Tom Hanson is one of the judges looking at the car.

Love the blonde plate as well. No pictures to post, but mine is the same as Mr Cave, except with Ohio as the state, "PAGODA"

I had "MBZ 230SL" on my car for a while.  I stopped using it several years ago.

I just showed this to my wife...

"O N O 78" she said. "what's so good about that?" she said

"turn it the other way up" I said

My wife now wants that plate as it VERY clearly applies to her

Sad thing is, as a kid her dad bought her (and I think still has) "M T Box" - which caused much consternation for a teenage girl in Texas. It happens to be her initials/name

I chose the license plate I REBLD because I not only rebuild old cars but also do so in my professional life as a plastic surgeon.  Some have read the plate as "I Rebelled", which isn't such a bad credo either.

I also have ITSA 63 for my '63 220 SEb because it seems that every yahoo who notices that car asks me what year model it is.

Nice idea for a thread.

Hey John. My front and back plates both start with the number 63... but the first question I usually get is: hey what year is it? So maybe I need the "its a" in there too.

It had Austrian plates "I VANT 1"

OK I lifted this one off of another active thread, but love the plate and thought it certainly should become part of this post.

Hey Larry. I like the rear of the car. Its a flashback to when I had all-red tailights on my car.
