Yes, nice indeed.  Congratulations.
Do you intend to keep it in its US configuration ... i.e., headlights, bumper uprights, etc?  Just curious.

Nicola, if its Doug's old car then you have one of the best cars around!
Have you managed to get through all the customs and licencing formalities?

Just this once, I'm going to post a link to a pretty large photo of my former SL since Nicola clearly wants to share here. (Seeing as it is no longer my car, I will not do this again. I promise!)
This photo was the last photo taken of the car before it was left in the hands of the company that loaded it into the container:

I've owned two Pagodas now and each was fun in its own way. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I find another. As we all know, these cars are all pretty special and quite addictive. :-)

What is the small black device/item at the hood line, on the right side, just behind the headlight?

Does look like the hood strap. Are the chrome exhaust tips missing?

I guess you could say the chrome tips are missing. The car is fitted with an early Timevalve stainless system. In fact, one of their first for a Pagoda. Like many s/s systems, it's a little longer than the factory unit, so it seemed unnecessary to put chrome tips on.

Will Douglas have to hide pictures of his secert inabition with his four wheel mistress, will they meet again?
Stay tuned for as the pagoda world turns:

Nix/Naj - It may be a few weeks for me as the new bairn is due on Tuesday and I may well be grounded
Which will give me time to puzzle out a childseat...
