re-assembly of 230sl/engine bay

begining re-assembly of my 1964 230sl and have lost all my pictures during dissassembly.  Could use help on any engine bay photographs wich clearly show layout of all parts. Right now I need help with position of anti sway bar; is it istalled with the bend down or up I think it should be down up does not seem to work but workshop manual as it pointing up please help.  I will have more questions as I proceed

Angelo,
I just ran out to the garage and looked at my sway bar.  The portion of the bar directly aft of the radiator base is lower than where it connects to the frame.  Hopefully we
re talking the same language, but to me that means the bend is down.  As you move outward from the center of the bar it bends up slightly to match up with the connector that holds it to the frame and then down and aft to the ends.  The battery in my camera is on the recharge bench right now, but if this doesn
t help let me know and I
ll take some snaps.

I went and took a look at mine, an early 250SL, and the bar is comes out of the bushing at either side of the frame, and then bends down, as it goes under the radiator.
