power steering conversion

Scholars,

Looking to convert my steering over to power when the summer is over. I'm not going to do it. Anyone know who can?

Thanks scholars,

Talked with Dan Caron this morning. The bottom line is I can use power steering parts off any 6 cyl. fuel injected sedan (SE series), except I need the steering column off a 230sl or early 250sl. Mike, I sent you an email to see if you're parts car fits this criteria.

Scholars,

I purchased a power steering conversion from SL Tech, and Dr. Dan has agreed to perform the conversion when he's up to it. I've purchased all the rebuild kits, and have been cleaning the components. I'm now ready for powder coating, but I do not wish to dismantle the pump or the housing to do it. I understand the temperature for the pre coat cleaning is 550°F and the post coat baking temperature is 400°F. Although all the rubber components are removed from the assemblies, I'm concerned that all this heat will really mess things up. My question is do I need to dismantal everything?
