230sl front exhaust pipe part number please
« on: July 18, 2006, 08:04:07 »
Can anybody confirm the part number for the front exhaust pipes - the one that joins the headers to the center exhaust - on an early '65 230sl? I think it's 113 420 02 19 but I'd like to be sure before ordering.
Thank you,

Is yours LHD?
RHD cars have a different pipe.
I beleive it shud be 113 490 02 20 (chassis <13864)

Hello guys,

Both of you are right (or not). ;)
It should read 113 490 ... as it is group 49 - exhaust. Group 42 (420, 421, etc.) are brakes.

Achim is Right, of course

  It shud be 113 490 ....

The LHD one costs a toe or two from MB, but the RHD one: an arm and a leg plus a few bits  :(
