Clutch master cylinder rebuild or replace ?
« on: September 11, 2006, 16:47:11 »
My clutch master cylinder appears to be leaking from the top seal.  There is a large circlip on the top.  Is there a rebuild kit available for this or am I better off replacing the whole thing with a new one?  Does anyone know who the OEM manufacturer was for the clutch master cylinder?  the things you find with your head under the dash.....

thanks for your help...

If you do find a clutch m/cyl rebuild kit, You will find there isnt much difference in the price of the kit and a complete new cylinder.
Also check the slave cylinder for leaks, they tend to fail at the same time as the master cylinder. I would reccomend changing them both.
