Griots... left Meguiars about 12 years ago, I think they changed their formula when they changed the bottles I just found that it was pastier (is that a word?) and harder to get off.  Where as the Griots left a good shine and I think good protection.  I wax about every month in summer (with the "best in show wax") and just once before winter with their sealant .
My 2 (damn these computers don't have a cent sign ?, AM I THAT OLD?)cents.

I use a combination of Meguires & Poor Boys products. Every 6 months I use the following process:

1) Wash car with Meguires soft wash product

2) Chamois & dry car thoroughly

3) I then use Meguires Gold Class paint cleaner

4) Then I use Poor Boys Black Hole (specially made for black cars)

5) Then Meguires Gold Class Sealant/Glaze

6) Meguires Carnubra Wax

In between I use Meguires Quik Wax after a wash.

I have also tried Zymol, etc and couldn't notice any discernible difference. Maybe because my car had a recent restoration, but I am very happy with products used above. I am going to try the Poor Boys paint cleaner, sealant & blue wax (carnubra) as their Black Hole product is the easiest to apply and buff compared to anything I have used before and it makes the black paintwork look even better than when I did not use it.

I use Autoglym and clay bar the car once per year. Really makes a difference.

Zymol for me.  Been using it for 11 years.  It's easy on the elbows.  Can get it a Ace hardware down the street.

 I agree totally with M. Salemi. All Carnuba waxes basically work the same. Most of our cars are garage kept, so the wax doesn't wear off quickly , as if it were parked curbside like regular cars. It's all in the prep, paint, and microfinishing after the paint.  My sig red vehicle has a heck of a shine, due mostly to prep, paint, and finish.  As long as the paint surface is cleaned well, with a good cleaner, most waxes work well.

Swissvax.  But I don't do it myself.  Gave up years ago as this topic is so confusing and I never got any good results.  I leave it to the pros now.  I take my car to Swissvax HK once a year and just use Quick Finish in the interim.

Well I spent 3 hours  polishing the 230SL using PoorBoys World products. I have no affiliation of any kind with the company/product but I must say the combination of PB products that I used has produced the best results on my car.

Using a random orbital polisher, I used the Professional Polish with a Lake Country white pad to take care of slight swirls & the like. I then re-applied the Professional Polish using a Lake Country Gold pad to get a perfect paint finish.

Then I used the Ex-P sealant with Lake Country fine Blue Pad.
Last step was the Nattys Blue Wax again applied with a Lake Country blue pad. The depth & slickness of the finish is very impressive. Photos attached
