Well, our area is similar to Johns in that other Pagodas are pretty rare. In the cooler months, I know for a fact about three owners here "hibernate" So, seeing one in February is really rare. Howwwwevvvver, a couple of weeks ago in downtown Grass Valley I spotted a really smart looking light blue 230SL with the hardtop on. A distinguished, grey-bearded gentleman of about 75 was behind the wheel. I may have seen him once before but have no idea who he is.
But the real treat was the next morning, when at about 730 in the morning as I was taking my high schooler to school, I saw approaching me, a top-down black 190SL with a young lady wearing a scarf and shades. As she whizzed by I thought -- now you don't exactly see that every day!
(it was clear and about 42 degrees by the way).
