Saw a lovely silver pagoda with private number plate driving into High Wycombe along London Rd last week.
Roof down blue interior. Stunning!

We were going north on SS 340 along Lake Como, spotted a very nice white Pagoda near Cernobbio, heading south.  Could not see any other details except that it had euro lights and was LHD.  Driver was male, looked to be a fifty-something.

Last night around 6:40, while driving my daughter to swim practice in my car we saw a brownish/broze 280SL with tan interior with two twenty year old males in it, heading south bound on Broadview Road(176) and we were heading north bound on 176 in Broadview Heights, OH.    I thought I knew all the Pagodasaround here, but evidently not.   If you are a member here, and it was your car, pm me, I'd like to take a closer look at it.

Only got a distant glance at a silver Pagoda with German plates around Appenzell behind the towering Sentis on this gorgeous 80+ degree day in Switzerland.

While in London (UK), a signal red Pagoda with black (old style) plates stopped on lights along my car. It was around the Elephant&Castle area.

Sadly, no time to take a picture. Only remember that the first letters on the plates were BMX (or something like that).

Although the weather was just OK with 15 degrees, the driver was brave enough to drive without the top.

This morning, around 10:30 AM on the 405 freeway, southbound in Los Angeles, just north of Santa Monica, a chocolate brown with light tan top, US spec Pagoda. My taxi driver was in a hurry so I couldn't get further details. Anybody here?

I'll be moving to LA sometime in the coming year as I just took a job there. If I find a house with a garage, I'll be taking my 280 SL with me so there'll be even more Pagodas in California ...

Light blue 230 maybe 250 with hardtop on spotted going in opposite direction to me on Pickhurst Lane, Bromley/Beckenham 11.30 this morning.
I was in my wife's car going to pick my Pagoda up which was a shame.

That'll be this one (taken 2 years ago at National Windscreens at the Elephant)
Lives in Bermondsey. The owner lurks here occasionally and we've spoken several times about his car. It was a bit of a rough resto when he bought it but it's looking better every time I see it. He's had it a while

Hi

Living in the inner east of Sydney, I am fortunate enough to see at least one other Pagoda each week. I think there would be a stable population of around 10 - 20 Pagodas garaged within a kliometre of my home in Darling Point, most apparently in long term ownership. They range from a badly neglected red 230SL parked on the street, to a spectacular Black 280SL with white interior. Some of these cars are, like my early '68 Tunis beige metallic 280Sl, in regular daily use.

Yesterday around noon, a dark blue or black Pagoda sitting in front of what appeared to be a breaker's yard for classic/old Mercedes and other European cars, on the road from the airport to Split, Croatia. Car appeared to be in decent shape.

I spotted a cream one with a brown soft top circumnavigating Place de l'Etoile last week. Brave!
(Arc de Triomphe)

Also spotted an AC Ace on Avenue Victor Hugo
Both must have off street parking as street parking is done by touch

Very nice offering on BAT(BringATrailer) this week. It's in Texas and redone to a very high level(I'd like to link but iPads are not computers).
A manual 280 with A/C in the color,in the jag world, flamenco pearl..pretty sure I don't know the MB color name..but rare and striking.
It'd look good in my garage, but something would have to go(oh no!..what?)
Cheers,RE

Hi Garry. That's interesting. I suspect many of these members will be located in suburbs close to the Sydney CBD. I also think many of the cars I see regularly are owned by non members. I wil make more effort to make contact with the drivers. Being a walker, am often on foot when I see these vehicles, so it is difficult to give chase. Cheers, Philip.
