Center Armrest
« on: December 17, 2006, 23:01:37 »
Hi all,

Does anyone know of a seller or manufacturer of a center armrest that will fit in the console box?  I have a client who is interested.  And/Or, will a 108 armrest fit?

Brain,

Some people like to lay the optional W 108 armrest in the center console tray. Klaus has that setup & I remember it looked very nice.

Brian, Doug,
let me try to upload an image of the armrest. It fits exactly into the existing tray. However, it is not from a W108, it is from the rear of a C126, the center pad in a 126 S-Class Coupe with 2 bucket seats in the rear. This pad was standard in Europe, but not part of the car in the US.

Well, although I did everything according to instructions, the picture does not show. Could it be since I use Netscape and not Explorer?

I sent an e-mail the the seller, requesting some photos of the firewall pad.  Hopefully he will respond.  I think we all know there are at least two patterns (excluding the current reproduction).  I will post the photos if and when I receive them.

Why not just have an upholster make one that fits or replaces the center wood tray. I know one of the early members who had a trisle green 230SL had one with a custom stero and it was sweet.
