I'm having moulds made of all types from originals, including grooved and non-grooved.
The only difference will be that I haven't bothered with the small holes in the back, although these could easily be drilled if required.
I'm going on holiday on tuesday but will post pictures of the finished article when I return.

I have to say that the results have exceeded my wildest hopes!
Not only is the colour spot on but the all-important feel is too.
I'm off on holiday but will post pictures when I return.

I saw this burlwood steering wheel listed on the German eBay. I assume it is a modern aftermarket wheel and was never available as an original option.

Your assumption is correct David.

That was never an option from the factory. You basically only had a choice of two colours: ivory and black.
