Douglas is right, there are a lot of familiar images in that bunch. In particular, I like image No. 20, but I've always liked that one off, Pininfarina Coachworks built, Tom Tjaarda designed car.
That giant collection of images sparks an ambitious idea. Those photos could be the impetus to start a web page, perhaps hosted on this site similar to
www.early911s.com (once there, click 911 Gallery - if your internet connection rhymes with 'dial-up', don't bother).
I've found this to be one of the coolest collections of automotive images out there. No two pictures of the same car and you have the ability to sort the images by color, year, type, etc. Click any image for an enlargement.
What a nice addition and HUGE resource a page like that would be for this Pagoda SL Group site.
I corresponded once with the guy who owns that 911 site and he explained that it is a self managed site. In other words, it is somehow automated so when a visitor adds their car's data in the registry, the photo they provide falls into place on this page. He says he sometimes goes months at a time without visiting or doing anything to maintain the site, it just does it itself. I found that rather intriguing.Ed Cave
