Microfiche
« on: March 19, 2007, 09:22:53 »
I am new to this message board, but I hope to be able to contribute some of my knowledge. I own a 1968 280 Sl with about 43000 miles on it and dedecided to disassemble it about 16 years ago for complete frame off restore. Well, kids, family, and 16 yaers later here I am. I was wondering if anyon might need a copy of the original MB parts Microfiche. As you all know, they showed lots of explosion views of assembly etc. If there is interest I will get them processed to electronic format

Welcome Pristine113.
You should get plenty of valuable help on this site. These days most of the original microfiche information is available on a CD at a very reasonable price.  It may be easier to find a PC than a microfitche reader these days! :)  However it would be very worthwhile to compare the two to make sure the new CDs have all the the information that was on the microfitche.
