There seems to have been four different types of clutch master cyl in the W113's.
The 230SL started out with 000 295 22 06 and
was superseded by 000 295 24 06; this was done relatively early, say end of 1964. Consisted of adding a bleed valve.
The 250SL got the 000 295 29 06 part. Has aluminium sleeve mount
The 280SL got the 000 295 52 06 cylinder. Different internal diameter as naj noted.
However, it seems that this -52- cylinder will _not_ fit early 280SLs. Haven't found the switch-over chassis No from -29- to -52- yet
