Pagoda passenger

Friday was a very sad day for me as I had to say farewell to my wonderful Pagoda passenger. We have been all over the place with each other with her lying in the console box on a blanket. It was a very difficult decision but she was in pain and I knew it was time. We went for one final drive around Hyde Park in London where we had a walk and a cuddle and I placed in my heart my thoughts and feelings for her that will form part of my memories. My journeys will never quite be the same and I am very sad.

Paul,

I am sorry. Not that it helps much, but you did the right thing. That's the problem with animals - their leaving. However, there are plenty more out there that would love to be able to take her seat, if not her place. Battersea would welcome a visit. You'll be amazed how much better you feel!

Good luck.

I've had to do it many times, and it never gets any easier.  She had a good companion--that's more than many dogs get.  Your heart will heal, and you will know when it's time to find another.

Last month I dreamed I had a dachshund named Cake and a giant chicken named Butter.  Maybe it's time for me...
