automatic flywheel

need flywheel,torq/con for a 230sl auto/tran. will a 250s (108.92 eng)bolt up to my 130 eng?

Hello Red,
The torque converter may be the same but the flywheel is different. The 230-SL  (M127 engine) has a four main bearing crankshaft with a couterbalanced flywheel.  All 250-S sedans used the M129 series engines with a seven main bearing crankshaft and different flywheels (not interchangable). The 220-SE finback sedans and W111 220-Se coupes used the M127 engines. These engines used the same crankshafts and similar block assemblies as the 230-SL. These automatic flywheels may be the same. Check the flywheel/converter bolt-up at to see if they are six bolt or four bolt. These flywheels were all counterbalanced (balanced as a unit with their respective crankshafts because of counter weights on each) and should be re-balanced when replaced. Why do you ask? Are you changing a standard to an automatic?
