Hello 66&Blue:
Thank you for pointing that out. As a result I did some research: It appears I was mistaken about the phenomenon "Sunlight". I thought, like most people who live in Seattle, that daylight is sunlight. Apparently, the mere absence of hard rain does not mean the sun is shining in Seattle. It has been explained to me that I have to look for a very bright object in the sky. Apparently it produces a phenomenon called a "Shadow". Around here, I have actually seen a shadow once, but it was in moon light. Our local chief meterologist, Andy Wappler, tells me we might have some genuine sun light at the end of July, maybe. But he is known for always being wrong. I shall wait for "Sun Shine" and apply the windshield repair kit then. Thank you!
