Paul,

You're in the original homeland of my 230SL!!.  It was originally sold at the NAVA dealership in Bergamo (NE of Milan, SE of Como) to Carlo Riva of the Riva boat manufacturer company.  Records show later oweners in Bergamo and Milan.

Have fun, say "hi" to all the Pagodas you see, and give them an information card for the Group.

Hi Rob,

I did 5700 miles in the end, and about the write up...I have been asked and to be honest I don't really think that it is that interesting and would hate it to be thought of as an opportunity for me to blow on about me me me. I posted a few snaps because I never have before and wanted to contribute but thats as far as it goes. I do this all the time and really dont consider what I do to be that interesting. I shoot ( photos) abroad a lot because its my job and I take my car because why wouldn't I? I think that other members all drive their cars in as many interesting places and have as interesting jobs as I do and do things that are far more worthy of inclusion, like engine replacements and things that benefit them directly. All I do is fill up with gas and off I go.

I have sent in ( as requested ) a few pictures for the magazine.
