I'm missing a small part on an auto trans I'm working on. On the outside of the trans there is a place where the shifter arm comes out and the linkage moves everything into the selected gear. On a 113 SL this lever has an extra lever screwed down on top of it so that the shifting can be done from the back of the trans. Sedans with coulum shift work from the front going around the bell housing and don't use this extra lever.
The trans is set up to work '' as is '' for the sedan models but has an extra piece for the SL's. I this case, two 6mm screws hold it to the lever that's already on the trans. In the modified version the shifter linkage attaches to the bottom of the extra lever and the nuetral safety switch wire hooks on to a small pin near the top. This part is sort of Z shaped about 5 or 6 mm thick.
Anyone have one of these levers from a dead trans laying around? My whole project is stalled due to this one missing part.
