I just received the complete wood set I bought on eBay (pic attached.. sorry for the similar wood table background!). I was a bit skeptical due to the price.. $480, when most refurbs of original run $550-650 or so. Wow, I am really impressed with the quality of these pieces. They ARE solid wood, with veneer, just as original, but have a super glossy finish, which is probably not the way the originals were, but I like it. I bought the more-expensive burl-wood version... the standard wood was selling (at auction) in the $350 range. Also got a complete front bumper set (new) for $365, both pieces and center piece. I'm sure these are not factory Mercedes, but then I'm not going for any concours, just want my frequent driver to look beautiful.
The seller of these items is an ebay store: M Europarts website:

Now, for a quick question to the forum:
My original console tray was attached to the driveline hump with two screws which went through the base, and covered by felt in the tray. The new tray also has a felt covering in the bottom of the tray, but clearly permanently glued on, and no holes in the wooded tray bottom for screws. How does every one else's tray attach? I'm thinking about maybe just using Velcro?
