Any Interest in billet alloy hub for Nardi wheel?

I've been looking for an alternative for the ugly (IMO) black textured hub that seems to be the only option for a Nardi Steering wheel.  I've spoken with Classicowheels and they are willing to make a custom machined, billet alloy hub that will match the finish of a Nardi steering wheel and fit our SL's perfectly, including a complicated fitment for the horn button. Check out the web site classicowheels.com under hub adapters for a general idea of what it would look like. If the look was right, and the price was in the $150-200 range would anyone else be interested?

How would you remove your existing Nardi hub?
It appears that you can't use a wheel puller.

Go to the Hubs section when you are on the Classico site for examples. The horn button is easily removed and a wheel puller can be used.

I installed the billet Classico adapter.  I had it cut down by an inch and it works great.  It is the same distance from the turn signal stock as original.  My car is a '66 230sl.  Jeffrey Fellman was also very good to work with.  I would recommend him to anyone.  The only problem I need to resolve is the horn issue.  I think I will use a button and either put it on the dash or the turn signal stock.  I do not see any good solution to the operating as original where it manually activated the horn.

Hi i build kit cars using Merc mechanicals and i make my own steering wheels. I take  a Merc. steering wheel strip of the rubber or plastic and cut out the centre and clean it up on a lathe.
Here you can remove the C clip and the plastic/brass contacts which you can use again for the horn .
Then i turn a sleeve or small tube the require lenghth and on the top i turn a disc which i drill and tap to bolt the new steering onto .I shamfer all the ends and weld the together and so i make my own hub and have it chromed
