Someone near PHILADELPHIA prepared to inspect car

Hello it`s me looking again for one Pagoda for me, today I found something on the craiglist classifieds,actually it is 1967 250SL and I want to know if someone would be prepared to take a look on the car, I would pay of course. The last time I was thinking of buying one 280SL in New York, but I was to slow, so I hope that this one don`t get away from me.

It`s 1967 250SL, white with cognac interiour, for 12850$ that might be really fair price. I`m sure that car is not perfect but from description I would say it could be nice.

At first of all thank you very much for your answer and willing to help, you must know that I`m really grateful for this help. The cr is actually in Mountainside near New Jersey, it is around 30 kilometres from New York I think. Yes, here is a link to the advertisement http://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/car/717349556.html of this car. Owner also gave me his second phone number: 9084186214 .

 I have been allready talking with the owner also, but he didn`t ahve much time and I will call him again in a few minutes again , that I ask him about some more details. I will let you know of course.

I`ve been talking with him and he explained me almoust all. This car really has original 68000 because it was driven in last 20 years just few hundred miles.
It still has it`s original paint, but there is also some surface rust, rust through in trunk area and this car has also some rust in rockerpanels with rust chipping down, so I think that those rockerpanels would need to be replaced.
Good is that the car has really original and great interiour, chrome is also nice and that was brought from Germany from a gentleman.

But he isn`t negotiable with the price because someone is allready comming to take a look tonight, so I think that I have no option that someone for me would be faster then this buyer that will take a look the car today. The owner said to me that he will notice me if the car won`t be sold today allready, so I have just option that I wait... There is also a lot of phone calls he said to me... And he said that he will be able to send me some photos tommorow or later and I have a feeling that I will be allready to late, but we will see, hope still stays;)

Maybe it`s really a little bit pricy, but I assume it`s really all original 280SL



I will let you know when I finally know some more details.

I`ve been talking with the owner today in the morning and the first buyer that came yesterday bought the car, so nothing again. Damn, if I would be near New York for sure I would be faster:)
Again, I can only wait that comes some interesting 280SL again, I hope soon, you can`t imagine how much I would like to have Pagoda and use it allready this summer;)

I would suggest getting a list of people willing to inspect their locations and their email addresses. That way when the perfect car comes along you can be able to react quickly.

I will be in Cleveland Ohio and on Long Island New York after the 15th of July.
