I have a 280 SL and I would like the adress of the Palo Alto company to repair my watch or if possible the adress of a place to repair my watch in Europe. Thanks Giancarlo Puddu (giapu@tin.it)

Giancarlo:

The Technical Manual here has a list of suppliers. Here is a link to the list.

Your English is very good but to avoid confusion: we use "watch" for a small timepiece worn on the wrist or put in a pocket. The timekeeper in the car is larger and is called a "clock"

I can definitely vouch for Overseas Speedometer, as they refurbished my speedo and tach.  Best part: they're a short 5min drive from my house.

Palo alto speedometer did a great job on my clock.I had it converted to quartz. You should e-mail them first. The only issue might be the postage charges to US from italy.
