The short fuse

I recently burned out my number 2 fuse.  It is the legendary "short" fuse which I gather is NLA.

What is the Pagoda Group approved solution?  Can you remove the spacer and replace with a full-size one?

Thanks,

Large

There was some talk about this awhile back. Last time I checked, it was available, though not from every MB parts dealer. As I recall, some referred to it as the "stubby fuse" or "stubbies," so you may want to run a search in this forum with that in mind.

I am pretty sure the Classic Center has these. They should be 25 A.

I bought a fuse set from SLS recently and all fuses were there.

The classic Center definitely has them.  I got two a short time ago.

Call it impatience, call it the march of time, call it inevitable... I drilled out the spacer (took about 60 seconds) and bought replacement fuses at the local Autozone.

For me, convenience trumps "correct" since I am a "driver" and not a "displayer".

Thanks for all the replies,
